Reminiscent of a Watercolor - Womens Fashions

The High Low Dress is a stylish piece of art that dances in the wind...

I adored the cut of this dress the moment I laid eyes on it at Bebe. Hi-Low dresses are great because they are incredibly comfortable, yet they flow and dance in the wind behind you. They are a great choice when you want a little added touch of femininity, yet need to be comfortable all day, even in the summer because they don't weigh you down.

The Colors of Sunset...

The color scheme of this dress reminded me of a sunset, and were reminiscent of a watercolor. The pattern was strong, but the colors were muted, which is great when you want to draw attention to yourself instead of the outfit. As a photographer I often have to make suggestions regarding what to wear for portraits vs fashion. When you want to draw attention to your clothing bold colors or patterns can make sense in a fashion scenario. However, when you want to draw attention to you facial features simpler tones work best. This dress however strikes a balance somewhere in between.

The Neckline...

Necklines are very important for style and sophistication. I love the high neckline of this dress because it showcases the collarbone area and emphasizes the neck. This is also fantastic because it's sexy without showcasing cleavage, which can sometimes be a challenge.

The Accessories

I adore bangles because they work in both casual and more dressed up situations. They are my go to, especially when I am travelling because they work for most everything. Alex and Ani really hit a home run with me when it comes to personalized bangles. They are a perfect gift, are fun to wear, and they say something about you.

Nude Heals are a Staple...

Every girl should have a pair of nude heels in their closet. It's a staple, so you can spend a little extra on them if you find a pair you adore. Best part is that you can turn to them for a dress or a pair of jeans, and they will work just as well.

The Hair...

With this style of neckline pulling your hair up, and off of your shoulders, works well. I pulled it to the side, because when you pull your hair all the way back it doesn't accent the frontal view. I simply used bobby pins and just kept twisting and pinning.

This is a simple yet sophisticated look with a poetic styling that allows you to feel the beauty of being a woman... Life is a stage. Have some character...
