Jennifer Maring's Swedish Heirloom Cookie Recipe
Ingredients...
1 Cup of Butter
1 Cup of Confectioner’s Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
11/4 cups of ground almonds or walnuts 1 Teaspoon Almond Flavor
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 Cups of Flour
Color Sugar and/or Sprinkles
Directions....
Pre-heat oven to 325...
Cream: 1 Cup of Butter
1 Cup of Confectioner’s Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
Add: 1 1/4 cups of ground Almonds or Walnuts 1 Teaspoon of Almond Flavor
2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract Blend in 2 cups of Flour
Shape into 1 inch balls and dip into colored sugar or add sprinkles.
Bake at 325 degrees for 15-18 minutes on an ungreased non-stick cookie sheet
