Always Be Experimental

ALWAYS BE EXPERIMENTAL

TO BE YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF AS AN ARTIST YOU HAVE TO ALWAYS BE EXPERIMENTAL

This week we posted the first of our 2019 behind the scenes videos on our YouTube channel. We’ve gotten into a habit of creating these because it’s fun to look back on the changes and growth of our journey. It’s always experimental, but it’s also a modern and creative way that we can share all the creativity flowing through our hearts and out of your studio. Binge, and you really get a sense of who we are. Truth is, every brand, and personality, should have their history captured, and their story told! We can help you with that by the way…. after all, we are photographers and filmmakers.

It’s important to make a living, but you have to put passion before profit sometimes and focus on being your authentic self. That means experimenting with, not only what you create, but also who you are as a person. Finding your authentic voice or vision is a never ending journey, but until take some time to explore things you don’t already know and understand completely your really just treading water. In the Northeast winter allows us to catch some short spells in between assignments to explore the unknown, and it’s kind of a beautiful thing. While we have to plan our year well for the slow months, it gives us a little time to dream and work towards creating new products, ideas, and experiences to share with our clients. Experimenting leads to reinvention, which is something all entrepreneurs have to embrace to succeed.

If you are a creative, make it a point to carve out time in your schedule to experiment. Open yourself up to the possibilities, and chart a new course for a little while. Embrace self education, and self discovery. Look inward rather than looking to what others have already done. To be experimental is to practice being your authentic self, and that’s where your most creative self will be waiting to meet you. So… make it a point and always be experimental!
