4K FOOTAGE

If you spend any amount of time researching our websites, you learn very quickly that we are not the typical creative studio. We produce International Award Winning photographs, fashions, films, a web series / vlog, fine art, and more. We are hired by celebrities, business leaders, Presidents, and for a wide range of commercial assignments. This means we demand a lot from our cameras, and seek camera systems that are maximized to allow us to tell our stories in a myriad of creative ways.

That's why I am very excited about a new camera that is about to debut. I've written other posts surrounding the announcement and specs, but finally I got to spend some time with it... That camera is the Lumix GH5. Once in a while, I try to share information on the technology we use behind the scenes here at Together In Style, in hopes that it may inform and inspire other creatives out there that are working in both art and technology.

I've worked with all the major camera brands, Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, and sought out Lumix when the GH4 debuted. I never even thought of Lumix as a contender until then. I can honestly say that my switch over to Lumix fundamentally changed the way I think about my profession as a creative artist because unseen possibilities started appearing in my work. I know everyone has always dreamed of owning Canon or Nikon, and will defend them till the end. I've been on that side myself, but I outgrew them once I understood the possibilities that mirrorless opened up, and Lumix is delivering it. In fact nearly everything you'll find on this website was shot this way.

The Lumix GH5 just became my favorite new camera for too many reason to list. Check out the video above to see how we use it in our web series, and why we think it's a solid investment for anyone creating photographs and films. We will be doing more posts in the future on the performance of this camera.
