FLATIRON

It was 1902, and at 20 floors it rose to the heavens as one of the tallest buildings in all of Manhattan. We can pretty much bet on the fact that at the time, Daniel Burnham could never have pictured it quite this way, although his Renaissance palazzo in Beaux-Arts styling would become an iconic symbol of New York City anyway. I’ve past the Flatiron over and over just about every hour of the morning and night, and even I never saw this coming. A work of art created with a digital camera, along with a deep unending thought process of fine art manipulation. Much like a painting, I never know when to stop before I ruin a perfectly good idea. However, this is where I ended my deep etherial blurs, burns, and styling to remix a building with an imagination that stands the test of time.
